Metehan Özcan (b. 1975) lives in Istanbul. He received a BA degree in Interior Design from Bilkent University and MFA degree in Visual Communication Design from Bilgi University. He is studying at Proficiency in Art and Design Programme of Dokuz Eylül University and working as part-time lecturer at various universities. Özcan mostly focuses on design and communication of modernist architecture in Turkey. Some of the shows he participated in are; Living and producing in İzmir: Authors of the City, Studio-X Istanbul (2018); Monomyth, Galeri Nev, Ankara (2018); Outside the sentence there was a city, SALT Ulus, Ankara (2016); “Design Chronology Turkey | Draft”, Are We Human?, the 3rd Istanbul Design Biennial (2016); Deadlands, NURTUREart, New York (2016); Places of Memory, 14th International Architecture Exhibition, la Biennale di Venezia Pavilion of Turkey (2014); Summer Resort For A Song, Depo Istanbul (2014); Please Do not Disturb, İstanbul Modern (2013).
